They swim with dance-like motions and cause whirlpools to form. Horsea compete to see which of them can generate the biggest whirlpool.
Horsea is a Water-type Pokémon. It takes double damage from Electric and Grass, and resists Fire, Water, Ice and Steel. Its base stats add up to 295: the highest are Defense and Special Attack (70) and the lowest is Special Defense (25).
It is the first stage of its evolution line, along with Seadra and Kingdra. Its abilities are Swift Swim and Sniper, and its Hidden Ability is Damp. It is in the Water 1 and Dragon egg groups and can breed with 175 species. In Scarlet and Violet it learns 13 moves by level-up and 28 by TM.
