Shelgon ignores its hunger entirely, never eating any food. Apparently, Shelgon will evolve once all its energy stores are used up.

Shelgon is a Dragon-type Pokémon. It takes double damage from Ice, Dragon and Fairy, and resists Fire, Water, Electric and Grass. Its base stats add up to 420: the highest is Defense (100) and the lowest are Special Defense and Speed (50).

It is the second stage of its evolution line, along with Bagon and Salamence. Its ability is Rock Head, and its Hidden Ability is Overcoat. It is in the Dragon egg group and can breed with 73 species. In Scarlet and Violet it learns 14 moves by level-up and 39 by TM.
