Mega Garchomp Z

Mega Garchomp Z is the Mega Evolution of Garchomp. Garchomp Mega Evolves in battle while holding the Garchompite Z, and returns to normal when the battle ends. Garchomp has one other Mega Evolution, Mega Garchomp.

It is a Dragon-type instead of Dragon/Ground like Garchomp. It takes double damage from Ice, Dragon and Fairy, and resists Fire, Water, Electric and Grass. Compared with Garchomp, it takes double instead of quadruple damage from Ice, and loses its immunity to Electric. Its base stats total 700, 100 more than Garchomp: Defense goes from 95 to 85, Special Attack from 80 to 141 and Speed from 102 to 151.
