It’s said that Malamar’s hypnotic powers played a role in certain history-changing events.
Malamar is a Dark/Psychic-type Pokémon. It takes double damage from Fairy, quadruple damage from Bug, resists no types, and is immune to Psychic. Its base stats add up to 482: the highest is Attack (92) and the lowest is Special Attack (68).
It is the second stage of its evolution line, along with Inkay. Its abilities are Contrary and Suction Cups, and its Hidden Ability is Infiltrator. It is in the Water 1 and Water 2 egg groups and can breed with 141 species. In Scarlet and Violet it learns 16 moves by level-up and 49 by TM. Its Mega Malamar form has its own page.
