Fishers detest this troublesome Pokémon because it sprays poison from its spines, getting it everywhere. A different form of Qwilfish lives in other regions.
Qwilfish is a Water/Poison-type Pokémon. It takes double damage from Electric, Ground and Psychic, and resists eight types. Its base stats add up to 440: the highest is Attack (95) and the lowest are Special Attack and Special Defense (55).
It is the first stage of its evolution line, along with Overqwil. Its abilities are Poison Point and Swift Swim, and its Hidden Ability is Intimidate. It is in the Water 2 egg group and can breed with 35 species. In Scarlet and Violet it learns 17 moves by level-up and 50 by TM. Its Hisuian Qwilfish form has its own page.
