Mega Charizard X

Mega Charizard X is the Mega Evolution of Charizard. Charizard Mega Evolves in battle while holding the Charizardite X, and returns to normal when the battle ends. Charizard has one other Mega Evolution, Mega Charizard Y.

It is a Fire/Dragon-type instead of Fire/Flying like Charizard. It takes double damage from Ground, Rock and Dragon, and resists five types. Compared with Charizard, it becomes weak to Dragon, is no longer weak to Water and Electric, takes double instead of quadruple damage from Rock, and loses its immunity to Ground, which now deals double damage to it. Its base stats total 634, 100 more than Charizard: Attack goes from 84 to 130, Defense from 78 to 111 and Special Attack from 109 to 130. Its ability is Tough Claws; Charizard has Blaze, with Solar Power as its hidden ability.
