Rock
In a sandstorm, Rock-type Pokémon get a 50% boost to Special Defense. Stealth Rock, a Rock move, hurts every foe that switches in according to its weakness to Rock.
Its attacks are super effective against Fire, Ice, Flying and Bug, and not very effective against Fighting, Ground and Steel. On defence it takes double damage from Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground and Steel, and resists four types: Normal, Fire, Poison and Flying. There are 74 Rock-type species, 17 of them pure Rock; the most common pairings are Rock/Water (11), Rock/Ground (9) and Rock/Steel (7). It has 26 moves: 17 physical, 4 special and 5 status.
