When Aron evolves, its steel armor peels off. In ancient times, people would collect Aron’s shed armor and make good use of it in their daily lives.

Aron is a Steel/Rock-type Pokémon. It takes double damage from Water, quadruple damage from Fighting and Ground, resists eight types, and is immune to Poison. Its base stats add up to 330: the highest is Defense (100) and the lowest is Speed (30).

It is the first stage of its evolution line, along with Lairon and Aggron. Its abilities are Sturdy and Rock Head, and its Hidden Ability is Heavy Metal. It is in the Monster egg group and can breed with 82 species. In Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl it learns 17 moves by level-up and 28 by TM.
