Flying

Since it is not on the ground, a Flying type ignores Spikes, Toxic Spikes and terrains. Roost removes its Flying type until the end of the turn.

Its attacks are super effective against Grass, Fighting and Bug, and not very effective against Electric, Rock and Steel. On defence it takes double damage from Electric, Ice and Rock, and resists three types: Grass, Fighting and Bug. It is immune to Ground. There are 109 Flying-type species, 3 of them pure Flying; the most common pairings are Flying/Normal (27), Flying/Bug (13) and Flying/Water (8). It has 31 moves: 17 physical, 9 special and 5 status.
