I suspect this Pokémon to be the true identity of a dragon written of in ancient texts, which claimed that it razed an entire village with white-hot beams from its maw.
Gyarados is a Water/Flying-type Pokémon. It takes double damage from Rock, quadruple damage from Electric, resists five types, and is immune to Ground. Its base stats add up to 540: the highest is Attack (125) and the lowest is Special Attack (60).
It is the second stage of its evolution line, along with Magikarp. Its ability is Intimidate, and its Hidden Ability is Moxie. It is in the Water 2 and Dragon egg groups and can breed with 105 species. In Scarlet and Violet it learns 19 moves by level-up and 54 by TM. Its Mega Gyarados form has its own page.
