Mega Pinsir

Mega Pinsir is the Mega Evolution of Pinsir. Pinsir Mega Evolves in battle while holding the Pinsirite, and returns to normal when the battle ends.

It is a Bug/Flying-type instead of a pure Bug-type like Pinsir. It takes double damage from Fire, Electric, Ice and Flying, quadruple damage from Rock, resists Grass, Fighting and Bug, and is immune to Ground. Compared with Pinsir, it becomes weak to Electric and Ice, takes quadruple instead of double damage from Rock, and becomes immune to Ground. Its base stats total 600, 100 more than Pinsir: Attack goes from 125 to 155, Defense from 100 to 120, Special Attack from 55 to 65, Special Defense from 70 to 90 and Speed from 85 to 105. Its ability is Aerilate; Pinsir has Hyper Cutter and Mold Breaker, with Moxie as its hidden ability.
