This Pokémon clamps its pincers down on its prey and then either splits the prey in half or flings it away.

Pinsir is a Bug-type Pokémon. It takes double damage from Fire, Flying and Rock, and resists Grass, Fighting and Ground. Its base stats add up to 500: the highest is Attack (125) and the lowest is Special Attack (55).

It does not evolve, and no other Pokémon evolves into it. Its abilities are Hyper Cutter and Mold Breaker, and its Hidden Ability is Moxie. It is in the Bug egg group and can breed with 92 species.
