Mega Rayquaza is the Mega Evolution of Rayquaza. Rayquaza needs no Mega Stone to Mega Evolve in battle: it only has to know Dragon Ascent. It returns to normal when the battle ends.

It keeps the Dragon/Flying typing of Rayquaza. It takes double damage from Rock, Dragon and Fairy, quadruple damage from Ice, resists five types, and is immune to Ground. Its base stats total 780, 100 more than Rayquaza: Attack goes from 150 to 180, Defense from 90 to 100, Special Attack from 150 to 180, Special Defense from 90 to 100 and Speed from 95 to 115. Its ability is Delta Stream; Rayquaza has Air Lock.
