Skiploom’s flower blossoms when the temperature rises above 64 degrees Fahrenheit. How much the flower opens depends on the temperature. For that reason, this Pokémon is sometimes used as a thermometer.
Skiploom is a Grass/Flying-type Pokémon. It takes double damage from Fire, Poison, Flying and Rock, quadruple damage from Ice, resists Grass, Water and Fighting, and is immune to Ground. Its base stats add up to 340: the highest is Speed (80) and the lowest are Attack and Special Attack (45).
It is the second stage of its evolution line, along with Hoppip and Jumpluff. Its abilities are Chlorophyll and Leaf Guard, and its Hidden Ability is Infiltrator. It is in the Fairy and Grass egg groups and can breed with 139 species. In Scarlet and Violet it learns 18 moves by level-up and 37 by TM.
