Primeape is a Fighting-type Pokémon. It takes double damage from Flying, Psychic and Fairy, and resists Bug, Rock and Dark. Its base stats add up to 455: the highest is Attack (105) and the lowest are Defense and Special Attack (60).

It is the second stage of its evolution line, along with Mankey and Annihilape. Its abilities are Vital Spirit and Anger Point, and its Hidden Ability is Defiant. It is in the Field egg group and can breed with 277 species. In Scarlet and Violet it learns 17 moves by level-up and 60 by TM.
