Alolan Rattata is the regional form of Rattata in Alola, the region of Pokémon Sun and Moon.

It is a Dark/Normal-type instead of a pure Normal-type like Rattata. It takes double damage from Bug and Fairy, quadruple damage from Fighting, resists Dark, and is immune to Psychic and Ghost. Compared with Rattata, it becomes weak to Bug and Fairy, takes quadruple instead of double damage from Fighting, and becomes immune to Psychic. Its base stats are the same as those of Rattata, for a total of 253. Its abilities are Gluttony and Hustle, with Thick Fat as its hidden ability; Rattata has Run Away and Guts, with Hustle as its hidden ability.
