It has a strange physiology that responds to electricity. When together with Karrablast, Shelmet evolves for some reason.

Shelmet is a Bug-type Pokémon. It takes double damage from Fire, Flying and Rock, and resists Grass, Fighting and Ground. Its base stats add up to 305: the highest is Defense (85) and the lowest is Speed (25).

It is the first stage of its evolution line, along with Accelgor. Its abilities are Hydration and Shell Armor, and its Hidden Ability is Overcoat. It is in the Bug egg group and can breed with 92 species. In Sword and Shield it learns 14 moves by level-up and 23 by TM.
