Alolan Sandshrew

Alolan Sandshrew is the regional form of Sandshrew in Alola, the region of Pokémon Sun and Moon.

It is an Ice/Steel-type instead of Ground like Sandshrew. It takes double damage from Ground, quadruple damage from Fire and Fighting, resists eight types, and is immune to Poison. Compared with Sandshrew, it becomes weak to Fire, Fighting and Ground, is no longer weak to Water, Grass and Ice, becomes immune to Poison and loses its immunity to Electric. Its base stats total 300, the same as Sandshrew, spread differently: Defense goes from 85 to 90, Special Attack from 20 to 10 and Special Defense from 30 to 35. Its ability is Snow Cloak, with Slush Rush as its hidden ability; Sandshrew has Sand Veil, with Sand Rush as its hidden ability.
