Mega Steelix is the Mega Evolution of Steelix. Steelix Mega Evolves in battle while holding the Steelixite, and returns to normal when the battle ends.

It keeps the Steel/Ground typing of Steelix. It takes double damage from Fire, Water, Fighting and Ground, resists eight types, and is immune to Electric and Poison. Its base stats total 610, 100 more than Steelix: Attack goes from 85 to 125, Defense from 200 to 230 and Special Defense from 65 to 95. Its ability is Sand Force; Steelix has Rock Head and Sturdy, with Sheer Force as its hidden ability.
